• New! I completed the Constant Contact University course "The Power of E-mail Marketing."

You need to back up your computer(s)!

It's not a matter of "if," it's a matter of "when!" This program save the day for one of my clients recently when the laptop crashed for good. This saved the intellectual property of the business! It's not a small deal -- you must have backups in place. Mozy, however, makes it easy.

I use this system as well, and it was a lifesaver when I recently rebuilt my computer.

CardScan

I've used the CardScan system for many years and have found it to be a big time-saver.

• Those piles of business cards cause untold inefficiencies because they take up room and it's impossible to put your hands on the one you want.
• Once your cards are scanned, you can search on any piece of information on the card.
• You can throw away the cards! Sharing is easy because you can create an image file of the card and attach to an email or print it out.
• You can export the data to a file and import it into many other programs, including Constant Contact (see below).
• You can import contacts directly into MS Outlook.
